we were busy shopping for xmas gifts last week.
well.. of course we tend to end up looking at gifts for ourselves.
my dear buddy ended up shopping at cK as there was a massive sales there.
while he was trying on his clothes, i went on to look at the ladies' section.
there was a shelf with at least 5 colored fur clothes, along with other cotton outfits with 50% discount.
i went on to touch a sky blue fur coat.
it was amazing soft..
in my mind i was thinking if it is made from real fur..
if it was, what type of fur..?
it is 100% RABBIT fur.
cK has just joined my BANS list.
CD and Burberry are another fatal fashion labels.
it is very cruel & disturbing watching how the animals are tortured & skinned ALIVE!
the clip here is not for the faint-hearted.
it will break your heart & make u cry. ;(
it will make u wonder why humans have to go to SUCH an extent for fashion.

used to work in this restaurant chain back in my younger days.
i'm glad it's no longer operating here.

zoo

raining cats & dogs when we were at the zoo.
it was a great pity that we can't see the special hog show.
that was my main objective to be there.
ah! i want to comment on the drooling horse!
a trail of sticky drool dripped from the horse's mouth!
after that, it licked it up.
ewwwww!
didn't get to see alot of animals as it rained too heavily.
nevertheless, it was pure joy!
to be in my most relaxed & silly state =P

laura brought nachos home!
the cheeky dog was barking for at least 2 mins before he settled down.
he came to me after that. very adorable <3

he refused to shake paws with us until laura lured it with pineapple tart!

when zax & marlene came over to my house, nachos started barking again. T_T he took at least another 5 mins before he quietened down.



we went bowling 1st =P
after that, we went to the bees' place.
when we got there, there were already lots of people gambling / watching tv prog.
i didn't expect zax to bring out my fav ice cream cake.

it felt like i'm 21 again. lol
it is really a great joy to be with my beloved ones on my big day.

gay animals

a refreshing read.
as we all know, homosexuality is a touchy issue.
most people will shun away from this topic.
i feel there is nothing wrong with it.
it is against nature?
little do we know, it existed in the animal kingdom.
i was so surprised to find out that the beautiful giraffes's homosexual activities is more than heterosexual..
i know that dolphins are sexual but i didn't expect to see the graceful black swans as one of the them :x
other homosexual animals include walrus, antelopes, gray whales & of course.. humans~
holy~ i want to see splashing orgies of gray whales.
lol~

i would love to visit this museum.
it is so interesting!

From male killer whales that ride the dorsal fin of another male to female bonobos that rub their genitals together, the animal kingdom tolerates all kinds of lifestyles.

A first-ever museum display, "Against Nature?," which opened last month at the University of Oslo's Natural History Museum in Norway, presents 51 species of animals exhibiting homosexuality.

"Homosexuality has been observed in more than 1,500 species, and the phenomenon has been well described for 500 of them," said Petter Bockman, project coordinator of the exhibition.

The idea, however, is rarely discussed in the scientific community and is often dismissed as unnatural because it doesn't appear to benefit the larger cause of species continuation.
