into the late nights lately

seems like only 1 item is deem healthy
but too much of anything is bad

whooping

been coughing since i last came back from BKK.
i was so sick that i didn't do much.
it went from a mild itch in my throat to full-blown cough & flu.
my head aches constantly with a dull pain.
i can't sleep well & i kept waking up to cough.
it felt as if i'm going to cough out my heart & lungs anytime.
my cough got so bad that i ended up puking my dinner yesterday. :(
i had already swallowed alot of lozenges & cough syrup.
seems like i'm on my way to recovery.. i'd better!!!
i reckon i had too much tom yum gung.
well... who can resist the tantalising lemongrassy soup?
not me, at least!
which leads to my downfall. haha!
can only blame myself to be so greedy! :x
we had alot of food during our stay there.
the local thai food, japanese food, steamboat, instant noodles & larvaes!
the guys bought a pack of fried larvaes at Sapanput.

these look so crunchy right?
well.. only the thin ones.
the fat bamboo larvaes gave a weird sensation when chewed on, according to the guys.
it was like an electric shock.
eeks! sounds bad enough!
other than food, we went for alot of head & body massages.
not costly at all.
it is great to relax after long shopping walks.
folks, u can consider to stay in Somerset Lake Point.
a lovely, spacious & clean service apartment!
excellent service from the staffs!
i'll rate it 4 stars!
oh.. forget to mention i saw this at Siam Centre.

a TVXQ promotion for their 2nd Asia Tour in BKK in dec 07.
talking about concerts, J called me & said that M is going to have his concert in KL this month.
seems like there is no promotion going on?
*shrug* not too sure either.
i dont have much time to check on these things as i've many other things on hand to handle now.
3 weeks more to go.. =D

the noodles are succulent!

i picked 1 chili. haha~
2 chilis is already too spicy for me ^^;

in the evening, met up with josh for dinner at Aglio Olio at tanjong pagar.
prior to dinner, 2 sweet japanese girls came up to us to ask for directions to Blue Ginger.
as both of us are not too sure, josh went to search while i waited with both of them.
they were quite shy initial.. but i broke the ice =P
it was their 1st time in Singapore & they will be flying back to Kyoto tonight.
they would love to spend more time in Singapore but they don't have enough $.
one of them even said i look like a japanese. lol
they were delighted to know both of us had been to Tokyo & love their homeland =)
as josh still can't figure out where Blue Ginger is, he finally called the restaurant.
the staff offered to come over to lead the 2 japanese girls the way.
that's good service =)
kekee~ going to try blue ginger someday.

=) went there for happy hour & dinner with sok chen, colin & zax.
bar stop is a pretty cool place.
when sok chen & i got there at around 6.30pm, it was almost packed.
whoa~ so early. hahaha~
those people don't have to work?!
the pork cubes & lobster ravioli are good =)
the ox-tail stew is too salty.
zax's lamb chops is too well-done. charred. XD
hmm.. overall, i love it.
will consider going back to chill out.
best of all... SMOKE-FREE!

clubs hopping

well.. we intended to hop from st james power station to mos to the butter factory.
power station was a bore.
mos was too freaking packed!
butter factory was too quiet.
blah~ none of these can entertain us.
cam-whoring was fun though, especially in the toilets. lol~
soon, we got pretty sick of st james.
as ususal, we debated & tried to decide on a place to eat at.
no where else to go?

finally, i thought of desserts at tong shui cafe at zion road & off we go~
i'm surprised that the gang have not been to this place.
sob~ the white fungus dessert sux :x
i thought it would be the soft, jelly-like dessert.
instead, it was crunchy. the type i hated :x
but as long the gang love the food, i'm happy.
they were gobbling down the food as if they haven't ate for days. lol~
i would have eaten the thick toast if i didn't have a sore throat.
i've craving for toast.......
