whooping

been coughing since i last came back from BKK.
i was so sick that i didn't do much.
it went from a mild itch in my throat to full-blown cough & flu.
my head aches constantly with a dull pain.
i can't sleep well & i kept waking up to cough.
it felt as if i'm going to cough out my heart & lungs anytime.
my cough got so bad that i ended up puking my dinner yesterday. :(
i had already swallowed alot of lozenges & cough syrup.
seems like i'm on my way to recovery.. i'd better!!!
i reckon i had too much tom yum gung.
well... who can resist the tantalising lemongrassy soup?
not me, at least!
which leads to my downfall. haha!
can only blame myself to be so greedy! :x
we had alot of food during our stay there.
the local thai food, japanese food, steamboat, instant noodles & larvaes!
the guys bought a pack of fried larvaes at Sapanput.

these look so crunchy right?
well.. only the thin ones.
the fat bamboo larvaes gave a weird sensation when chewed on, according to the guys.
it was like an electric shock.
eeks! sounds bad enough!
other than food, we went for alot of head & body massages.
not costly at all.
it is great to relax after long shopping walks.
folks, u can consider to stay in Somerset Lake Point.
a lovely, spacious & clean service apartment!
excellent service from the staffs!
i'll rate it 4 stars!
oh.. forget to mention i saw this at Siam Centre.

a TVXQ promotion for their 2nd Asia Tour in BKK in dec 07.
talking about concerts, J called me & said that M is going to have his concert in KL this month.
seems like there is no promotion going on?
*shrug* not too sure either.
i dont have much time to check on these things as i've many other things on hand to handle now.
3 weeks more to go.. =D

happy birthday

to my dearest friend, don =)
a day late.. :x
by the time i got back to SG, it was past midnight.
glad to know u had a fabulous time ;)

my vacation was fun!
i hate the flying coaster though.
got a bad headache after that.
the outdoor theme park is so so.
i think my expectations a little too high.
my fav is still Japan's Disneyland =)

casio was not bad, a tad too smokey for me :x
didnt gamble, more like a spectator.
my dear is good at roulette! ;)
i see so many old folks there, especially at the Jackpot!
i think they can spend an entire day sitting in front of the slot machines.

i would say it was enjoyable & the weather was good.
however, we might not consider this place again.
it's more for gambling, not our cup of tea.

a short trip is refreshing =)

vacation

looking forward to it though it's just nearby =)
never been on a trip just by the two of us.
need to recharge our lives.

blissful that we have sorted things out.
let's work hard hand in hand to pave our future <3

If an angel is someone who's so filled with love,
It's a gift that they constantly share...
If an angel is someone who looks out for others,
And gives them a nudge here or there...
If an angel is someone who touches your life
With a heart that's both joyful and wise...
Then even though you don't have halo or wings,
You're an angel in human disguise

1st day in Japan

this place is so... cool!
the locals are well-dressed, be it formal or funky!
i wonder if they woke up extra early each day to do their hair =P
the japanese are simply drop-dead gorgeous!

the train station is Ikebukuro.

while at the train station, waiting for helen to come back with her concert tickets, we stood near a vending machine for cigges.
lol~ this promotes smoking?

as we travelled on board to Harajuku, what did we see?
hordes of people & more attractive citizens.
helen gets really excited and we persuaded nicky to snap 'us'.
i think, that bishie (bishounen) knew.. because he was smiling to himself :x

shopping paradise!
pretty much like our Bugis Street with more edgy touch~
i love this place!
can u picture getting a SGD$15 sexy heels here? so cheap!

we walk around abit before we found Meiji Shrine.
a place dedicated to Emperor Meiji, someone very important in Japan History.

interesting alcohol casks

the wishing boards stand.
i see many wishes dedicated to Kat-Tun~ =P

it has been a very lucky day~
there have been wedding processions.
1st time seeing a traditional Japanese wedding <3

it is such a strange feeling ^^;
inside Meiji Shrine, we feel solemnness & peace around us.
as we step outside(barely 10 metres away from Meiji Shrine's entrance), the funky cos-players welcome us.
some of them look so pretty & cute!
i wanna cos-play, too! =D

after spending around 1 hr in Meiji Shrine, we made our way to Yebisu Garden Place for tvxq's concert.
oh~ i forgot!
we saw 윤은혜 (aka ex Baby-Vox) while waiting for helen to pick up her chopsticks souvenir.
은혜(in tiara) is also the one in drama Goong 궁
beatrice, vivian & nicky ran off to take pics with her.

about 30min later, we arrived at Yebisu Garden Place.
it was very crowded and messy.
don't even know where the queues start.
there were lines of people all over Yebisu :x
finally, we managed to talk to a security (a rather cute one) who speaks english & made our way into the concert venue.
the japanese fans love our hair-bands ^^
they were going 'AH! kawaii!!!!'

didn't have a very good view of the boys as we are standing towards the back of the concert hall.
the japanese wear high heels.
mind you.. those are like 3" to 4" high heels :x
no wonder they look so tall~
well.. that is the only way to get a good eye view of the boys.
once the boys make their 1st appearance on stage, the human waves started.
lots of pushing and shoutings.
i bet the boys would have seen the wave.
it is an ugly sight, huh? :x

though we can't see the boys very clearly but it is excellent to hear the boys singing live <3
i float away to LaLa land when i hear 'My Destiny'.
'The last time we make love, you said that you'll love me true'
'i'm missing your tender touch, i'm missing your...'
*wham bam*
how sexy can it get to hear 준수 belts out that line~

throughout the concert, no matter how excited i get, i didn't scream on top of my voice.
think i only shouted 준수's name around 5 times..
i just stand there and absorb the atmosphere.
to know i'm in Tokyo to watch the boys.
it is overwhelming~
