supernova
now i know who they are.
the latest boy group in s.korea.
initially i was puzzled by the sudden increase in my hits & went on to find out.
it does feel a little weird to have my blog with the same name as them.
considering i used to be such a k-fanatic.
these 6 boys resemble someone each.
one looks like lee junki & the other resembles kim jaejoong.
seems like they are quite talented, too.
hope these boys will make it big in the huge kpop industry.

i mentioned 3 days ago that both of us have yet to try this brand's.
both of us are ardent fans of subway.
introducing the egg mayo with watercress!
(both of us adore egg mayo).
one look & it tells u 'i'm a healthy sandwich' =P
look at all the watercress!
all gobbled up in less than 3 mins!
overall review?

whooping
been coughing since i last came back from BKK.
i was so sick that i didn't do much.
it went from a mild itch in my throat to full-blown cough & flu.
my head aches constantly with a dull pain.
i can't sleep well & i kept waking up to cough.
it felt as if i'm going to cough out my heart & lungs anytime.
my cough got so bad that i ended up puking my dinner yesterday. :(
i had already swallowed alot of lozenges & cough syrup.
seems like i'm on my way to recovery.. i'd better!!!
i reckon i had too much tom yum gung.
well... who can resist the tantalising lemongrassy soup?
not me, at least!
which leads to my downfall. haha!
can only blame myself to be so greedy! :x
we had alot of food during our stay there.
the local thai food, japanese food, steamboat, instant noodles & larvaes!
the guys bought a pack of fried larvaes at Sapanput.
these look so crunchy right?
well.. only the thin ones.
the fat bamboo larvaes gave a weird sensation when chewed on, according to the guys.
it was like an electric shock.
eeks! sounds bad enough!
other than food, we went for alot of head & body massages.
not costly at all.
it is great to relax after long shopping walks.
folks, u can consider to stay in Somerset Lake Point.
a lovely, spacious & clean service apartment!
excellent service from the staffs!
i'll rate it 4 stars!
oh.. forget to mention i saw this at Siam Centre.
a TVXQ promotion for their 2nd Asia Tour in BKK in dec 07.
talking about concerts, J called me & said that M is going to have his concert in KL this month.
seems like there is no promotion going on?
*shrug* not too sure either.
i dont have much time to check on these things as i've many other things on hand to handle now.

the lake house
the hollywood ver to 시월애 made both of us sobbed.
yes, it took us quite awhile to watch this movie & we finally watched it.
what we can say is... 'touching'.
alex waited for kate, knowing the fact that both of them live 2 years apart.
how often do we wait for someone?
10 mins & u'll wonder if ur friend miss the bus / train.
30 mins & u'll wonder if ur friend forget the correct time to meet.
1 hr & u'll be fuming & think u had been stood up.
2 years.. oh my... he really waited.
i know u will start saying that i'm such a silly person as this is just a movie.
oh yes.. u r very right.
it is just a movie.
yet it made me think quite a bit.
will u wait for the one whom u believe is one u've been waiting for all these while?

tea cosy
at eclectic attic is a must-go place.
yummy french food at a reasonable price.
it felt as though we booked the whole place as we were the only couple there for a meal.

hopeless
my heart breaks into many pieces when i found out what happened to someone very dear to me.
i'm almost tearing when L msn-ed me.
she is head over heels in love with a man since 5 years ago.
over a guy who can't commit, cheats & is a bankrupt.
why is she pinning so much hope on a jerk?
he can't provide her anything, be it in terms of security or love.
furthermore, he has a cheating heart!
he became a bankrupt when his business failed in 2004.
it is only today that she found out.
L insists on staying by him.
am i being senseless & heartless?
i wanted to slap her & make her come to her senses.
obviously, she is madly in love with a selfish man.
she discovered the presence of another gf on last sun when she looked at his mobile phone.
some of her friends already knew of this girl since 2 years back & they didn't tell L because they thought it was just a fling.
she went to confront her bf yesterday after having too much drinks.
he admitted he has a 2nd gf.
he claimed she threw herself at him & he even slapped her to make her back off.
but she still clings on to him.
he doesn't meet her all the time, only occassionally.
he invests most of his time with L & not with the 2nd gf.
all the while, he thought he can't commit & love someone.
so he tried to fool around and wanna know if he really don't love L.
he said he doesn't love the 2nd gf & he feels he is committed to L.
what the heck?! excuses!
he is 2-timing worm!
how could all these crap be happening to L?
it really make no sense.
L wanted to call the 2nd gf & this jerk is fine with it.
he told L to go ahead & let the 2nd gf know of their status since this 2nd gf didn't want to leave him.
no matter how he tried to tell this 2nd gf, she still clings to him.

it is so cool that JP Fu agrees to solemnize!
she is interesting!
we saw her at connie & jake's solemnization & we kind of like her.
heheee~ connie recommended me to engage JP Fu.
so lucky she is available for our time slot.
she has another ceremony in the evening.
we were trying our luck to see if she is available as 11 nov is a very popular date.
lucky lucky us! =D
now we need to settle our outfits, shoes, invitation cards & photographer.
we hope we are not missing out anything...
she is interesting!

yes.. finally finalized with our ROM venue!
the place where we are becoming man & wife is at Mezebar.
we will have the whole bar to ourselves on our special day.
took us two weeks to decide on this lovely venue.
we want it to be really special.
don't intend to hold it by the poolside or in a function room.
to us, the solemnization is more important than actual day dinner (which will be at least a year later).
we will need to secure a JP soon..
on a lookout for photographer as UK can't commit due to his in-camp.
anyone has a good & reasonable rates photographer to recommend?
oh yes!! yesterday, we went to IC to attend jake & connie's wedding.
both of them look so stunning!
we love the settings & color theme.
it was gold & white.
their JP seems to be such a jovial lady!
quite patient & she requested for the guests to be silent as the ceremony was starting.
there was a silence of around 1 min and the rest of the guests at the end of the corridor started to talk among themselves.
she had the 'oh dear.. what to do' look as the noise gets louder.
but she continued on as they were already half-way through the ceremony.
i guess that is the problem of a large crowd.
i think they should respect the newly-wedded couple.
oh well...
the wedding favors were white rose-shaped soap & potpourri.
the dishes were yummy, too!
we loved the red bean with lotus seeds & lily bud dessert!
can consider this hotel for our actual day =)

almost fainted this morning while i was waiting for my bus to work.
i was seeing stars & my heart thumped so fast.
it took me quite awhile to reach home.
i had to stop every few steps as i can't breathe properly.
i was breaking out in cold sweat, too..
first time i felt this way..
아이고..
when i finally reached home, i had the vomitting urge.
i threw up my breakfast & my EPO.
sheesh... now then i know the EPO is so bitter!
yucks!

*gasp* i realised i didn't blog about this movie when i first watched it.
how could i?!
lol~ this IS the best movie i've seen so far.
would you choose Protect or Destroy upon reaching this awesome movie site?
watched it for the 2nd time as the girls didn't get to watch it as they were holidaying in Aust.
so glad that they love it, too =)
watching it at Lido was a horror.
we all know how bad the seats are.. but we are left with no choice.
most cinemas were fully booked.
a few blokes in the 4th row kept talking when the movie was starting.
it was lucky they shut up soon after.
what else that is next that can be so bad?
this girl behind me kept shifting & knocking into my seat.
it happened not once, not twice but 10 times.
yes.. i counted.
i was so irritated that by the 4th time, i turned around to look at her.
she stopped for awhile & not long after, it started all over again.
i was darn pissed as i'm trying to enjoy a good movie.
i tried so hard to ignore her as i didn't want to spoil the mood of other movie-goers.
i would have told her off.
there were so many of us who were feeling so cramped up but we don't even fidget like what she did.
to the extent of affecting others.
it was torturous to watch movie with constant knocking at my seat.
not going back to Lido ever again.
she ought to consider revamping her cinemas.
used to enjoy movies at Lido & Cathay when i was a little kid.
fond memories..
a good thing that Cathay did something & now she is such a magnificent theatre.
as for Lido.. a pity...
